Odum Maegangalae Lyrics: Odum Maegangalae is super hit song from the 1965 Tamil film ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’, produced and directed by B. R. Panthulu under the banner Padmini Pictures. The film was written by K. J. Mahadevan.

Aayirathil Oruvan [1965] Tamil movie stars M. G. Ramachandran, Jayalalithaa, M. N. Nambiar, Manohar, Nagesh, S. V. Ramadas, Vijayalakshmi, Madhavi, and others. The film marks the first collaboration of MGR and B. R. Panthulu. It was also the first of many collaborations between Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa.

Odum Maegangalae song lyrics were written by famous Tamil lyricist Kannadasan and the song was composed by music director duo of Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy. It was the last film where they worked together until Engirundho Vandhan [1995]. This song was sung by plyback singer T. M. Soundararajan.
