This is the 5th film of actor Vinay Rajkumar in a lead role. His upcoming films are Andondittu Kaala and Pepe. This film marks the debut of actress Mallika Singh and Swathishta in Kannada films.

Director of this film ‘Simple Suni’, made his directorial debut in Simple Agi Ondh Love Story (2013), followed by Bahuparak [2014], Simpallag Innondh Love Story [2016], Operation Alamelamma [2017], Chamak [2017], Bazaar [2019], Sakath [2021], Avatara Purusha [2022]. Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe marks the first collobaration of Director Suni and actor Vinay Rajkumar.

Filmed at diverse locations in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Rajasthan, and Mumbai, the movie concluded its shooting on November 7, 2023. The anticipated release date for the film in Karnataka is February 9, 2024.
