Jyothi Rai Biography | Age | Serials | Relationship | Wiki: Jyothi Rai is an Indian actress who works in television and films mostly in Kannada, Telugu and Tulu languages. She has acted in more than 20 TV shows and some of her best known Kannada TV serials includes Bande Baratava Kaala, Jogula, and Kinnari. In Telugu she is best known for her role ‘Jagathi Madam’ in the serial Guppedantha Manasu.

Jyothi Rai was basically a Mangalorean but born in Madikeri, Coorg, Karnataka on July 4th, 1986. She completed her schooling in Puttur High School in Karnataka. After finishing her education she worked in Accenture for a while.

Jyothi Rai stepped into married life at the very young age of 20. Director Vinu Balanja is a relative of her husband. It was Jyothi Rai’s brother in law who informed Vinu Balanja about her interest in acting while speaking with Vinu Balanja over a phone call. That lead her to act in Kananda serial ‘Bande Baratava Kaala’ in ETV. Later she pursued her career in films and television.

She made a mark with her role as ‘Devaki’, in the Kannada serial ‘Jogula’. She went on to act in Kannada serials like ‘Kanyadhaana’, ‘Gejjepooje’, ‘Anuraga Sangam’, ‘Lavalavike’, ‘Prerana’, ‘Kinnari’, ‘Moorugantu’, ‘Kasturi Niwas’, and others. She is best known for her role as ‘Jagathi Madam’ in the Telugu serial Guppedantha Manasu.

Jyothi Rai has acted in more than 20 television shows in different languages. She is also acted in few movies as well. Some of her movies are Sitarama Kalyana, Gandhada Gudi, 99 and Diya Varnapatala, among others.

Jyothi Rai first marriage with Padmanabha Rai, a Network Engineer was ended in divorce due to differences. The couple has a son. Rumores started to emerge about her relationship with young director Suku Purvaj who is known for directing film such as Sukra, Matarani Mounamedi, and A Masterpiece.

Jyothi Rai put a full stop to the rumors’ by officially announcing her relationship with Suku Purvaj by revealing that they are engaged and are soon going to get married. She made head lines for the alleged leaked private videos and pictures of her.
