Aamir Khan in Lokesh Kanakaraj-Rajinikanth film?

Aamir Khan in Lokesh Kanakaraj-Rajinikanth film? : Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will soon be making his debut in Lokesh Kanakaraj’s Cinematic Universe [Lokesh Cinematic Universe] is now doing the rounds on social media.

Reports suggest that he will be teaming up with Rajinikanth for this project, which will mark a significant collaboration between the two stalwarts of the film industry. Aamir Khan is rumored to star in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kooli, directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj.

If this news turns out to be true, it will be Aamir and Rajinikanth’s second film together. The two had previously worked together in the 1995 Hindi film Aatank Hi Aatank.

Aamir Khan is currently busy with his next film Sitaare Zameen Par. Sitare Zameen Par is a remake of the Spanish film Champions and is said to be the sequel to the 2007 hit film Taare Zameen Par. Sitare Zameen Par also stars Genelia Deshmukh and Darsheel Safari alongside Aamir Khan. RS Prasanna, who directed the 2013 Tamil romantic comedy film ‘Kalyana Samayal Sadam’, directed ‘Sitare Zameen Par’.

Aamir was last seen on screen in 2022 in the comedy-drama Lal Singh Chadha directed by Advait Chandan. The film is a remake of the 1994 American classic Forrest Gump. It starred Aamir, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya,  Mona Singh among others.

Director Lokesh Kanakaraj has created his own cinematic universe by capturing the attention of the audience with films like Kaidi, Vikram, Leo and Master.

If Aamir is roped in for Lokesh, who is using actors from various languages like Kamal Haasan, Rajnikanth, Vijay, Suriya, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Naren, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Nagarjuna, Upendra, & others in his film, it will surely be a big treat for the cine buffs.
