Disha Patani is an Indian actress and model who primarily works in the Hindi film industry (Bollywood). She was born to Jagdish Singh Patani, a DSP in the Uttar Pradesh Police, and her mother is a health inspector.

Disha completed her schooling from Bareilly and later moved to Noida for further studies. She pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering from Amity University, Lucknow.

Disha began her career in the entertainment industry with modeling. She gained recognition through various advertisements and made her acting debut with the Telugu film “Loafer” in 2015. However, she gained widespread fame with her Bollywood debut in the sports biopic “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” (2016), in which she played the role of Priyanka Jha.

Following her debut, Disha appeared in films like “Baaghi 2” (2018), alongside Tiger Shroff, and “Bharat” (2019), starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. She also featured in the action-thriller “Malang” (2020), opposite Aditya Roy Kapur.
