Copa America Champions List: Copa America or The CONMEBOL Copa América is a famous football tournament contested among South America’s national teams. The competition determines the champions of South America. Since the 1990s, North American teams have also been invited to compete in this tournament which was known as the South American Football Championship until 1975.
The first edition of this tournament was began in 1916 and Copa America is the oldest still-running continental football competition, as well as the third most watched football competition in the world. Since the inauguration of the tournament 47 editions have completed.
The 48th edition of the Copa América will start from June 20 to July 14, 2024 hosted by United States. This is the second time that The United States is hosting this tournament after, having hosted the Copa América Centenario in 2016. Argentina is the defending champion.
