There was a huge expectations and speculations, among the viewers with regards to the contestants of  Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. The speculations are finally over and the names of the 18 contestants, who will be challenged to spend 105 days in the house are announced.

The Season 1 of Bigg Boss Tamil was launched on 25 June 2017 with the slogan “Can’t run, can’t hide”. There were total of 19 contestants. The big boss was House constructed at EVP theme park, Chennai to spend 98 days of competition. 30 September 2017 was the finale. Aarav won the season and was awarded cash prize of 50 lakh Rs.

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 Contestants were: Aarav, Snehan, Anuya Bhagvath, Bharani, Ganesh Venkatraman, Namitha, Oviya, Vaiyapuri, Ganja Karuppu, Aarthi, Gayathri Raghuram, Shakthi Vasudevan, Sri, Raiza Wilson and Maria Juliana.

Wildcard entrants: Bindu Madhavi, Suja Varunee, Harish Kalyan and Kaajal Pasupathi.

Winner: Aarav, Runner Up: Snehan, Third: Harish Kalyan, Fourth: Ganesh Venkatraman

The Season 2 of Bigg Boss Tamil was launched on 17 June 2018 with the slogan “Who is good? Who is bad?”. There were total of 17 contestants. The big boss was House constructed at EVP Film City at Chembarambakkam, Chennai to spend 105 days of competition. 30 September 2017 was the finale. Actress Riythvika won the season and was awarded cash prize of 50 lakh Rs.

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 Contestants were: Riythvika, Aishwarya Dutta, Mumtaz, Yashika Aannand, Ponnambalam, Mahat Raghavendra, Daniel Annie Pope, Shariq Hassan, Janani Iyer, Vijayalakshmi, Sendrayan, Thadi Balaji, Nithya Balaji, Vaishnavi Prasad and Ananth Vaidyanathan.

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 Contestants were: Fathima Babu, Mohan Vaidya, Losliya Mariyanesan, Sakshi Agarwal, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Jangiri Madhumitha, Saravanan, Sherin Shringar, Cheran, Kavin, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Tharshan Thiyagarajan, Mugen Rao, Sandy, and Reshma Pasupuleti.

The Season 4 of Bigg Boss Tamil was launched on 4 October 2020 with total of 17 contestants. The big boss was House constructed at EVP Film City at Chembarambakkam, Chennai to spend 105 days of competition.  Actor Aari Arujunan won the season and was awarded cash prize of 50 lakh Rs.

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4 Contestants were: Rio Raj, Sanam Shetty, Rekha Josephine, Balaji Murugadoss, Anitha Sampath, Jithan Ramesh, Velmurugan, Aari Arujunan, Som Shekar, Gabriella Charlton,Aranthangi Nisha, Ramya Pandian, Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, Suresh Chakravarthi, and Aajeedh Khalique.
