List of Chief Ministers of Jharkhand: Jharkhand is a state in eastern India formed on 15 November 2000. It is the 15th largest state by area, and the 14th largest by population. Hindi is the official language of the state. The city of Ranchi is its capital and Dumka its sub-capital.

Six people have served as the state’s chief minister since its formation. Babulal Marandi was the first Chief Minister of Jharkhand. Arjun Munda, is the longest-serving chief minister. Raghubar Das, was the first chief minister to complete a full term in the state. Hemant Soren of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is the incumbent chief minister. The state has also been under President’s rule three times.
