Following the critical and commercial success of “Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana” (2021), Raj B. Shetty is all set to make a comeback on the silver screen with an intriguing revenge drama titled “Toby.” After showcasing his talent as a writer and director, Raj B. Shetty will now captivate audiences with his performance in this anticipated film.

“Toby” promises to offer a gripping narrative filled with suspense and intense emotions, keeping viewers at the edge of their seats. Fans and film enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the release of this exciting project, eager to see Raj B. Shetty’s portrayal in this new avatar.

Raj B. Shetty is an Indian actor and filmmaker primarily working in the Kannada film industry. He was born on September 30, 1983, in Udupi, Karnataka, India. Raj B. Shetty initially started his career as a software engineer but later pursued his passion for acting and filmmaking.

He gained recognition for his work in the film “Ondu Motteya Kathe” (2017), in which he not only played the lead role but also directed and co-wrote the film. “Ondu Motteya Kathe” received critical acclaim and won several awards, including the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Screenplay.

Raj B. Shetty has also acted in other Kannada films such as “Sarkari. Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai” (2018) and “Gubbi Mele Brahmastra” (2019). He is known for his unique choice of roles and his ability to portray diverse characters on screen.

Raj B. Shetty’s third directorial venture, “Swathi Muttina Male Haniye,” a romantic drama starring Raj and Siri Ravikumar, has completed its shooting but is facing uncertainty regarding its release. The film is produced by actor-politician Ramya under her banner Apple Box Production. Raj recently informed reporters at an event that the sound mixing for the film is pending. Initially, the makers had planned for a direct-to-OTT release.

In addition to his directorial projects, Raj will be seen in the Malayalam film “Rudhiram” alongside Aparna Balamurali. The film is directed by Jisho Lone Antony, and the music will be composed by Midhun Mukundan. Raj is also currently shooting for the Kannada film “45,” which marks the directorial debut of music composer Arjun Janya. “45” is a multi-starrer with Shivarajkumar and Upendra playing key roles.
