Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade suffers a heart attack: Hindi and Marathi film actor Shreyas Talpade experienced a heart attack on the night of Thursday, December 14. The 47-year-old actor, actively engaged in the shooting of the film ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ suffered the cardiac episode shortly after returning home from the set.
Subsequently, he was promptly admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai’s Andheri West, where he underwent angioplasty and is currently in recovery.
During the shoot, Shreyas Talpade was reported to be in good spirits, participating in the day’s activities and sharing jovial moments on the set of the multi-starrer film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ (Welcome 3). Despite actively filming, including action scenes, he later informed his wife of fatigue, leading to his swift hospitalization. Unfortunately, he collapsed on the way to the hospital.
Shreyas Talpade, aged 47, made his debut in the film industry in 2001 with ‘Ankhe’ and subsequently achieved notable success in the Bollywood film ‘Om Shanti Om’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
In addition to his extensive work in Hindi cinema, Shreyas Talpade has made significant contributions to Marathi cinema and initially gained recognition through television.
Notably, he expanded his roles as a director and producer with the film ‘Poster Boys’ and showcased his talent as a skilled dubbing artist, lending his voice to Allu Arjun’s character in the Hindi version of ‘Pushpa 1.’
Currently, Shreyas Talpade is shooting for ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and also has ventured into the Kannada film industry industry with the movie ‘Ajagrata,’ along side Radhika Kumaraswamy.
‘Welcome to the Jungle’ boasts an ensemble cast, featuring prominent actors such as Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Rahul Dev, and others, with Shreyas Talpade playing a significant role.
