Hruta Durgule was born on 12 September 1993 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, she hails originally from Ratnagiri and was raised in a close-knit family that supported her early passion for the performing arts. Her father is Dilip Durgule and her mother is Nilima Durgule; she also has a younger brother named Rugved Durgule.

Growing up in Mumbai, Hruta developed an interest in media and communication from an early age. She completed her schooling in Mumbai before enrolling at Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College in Matunga, where she graduated with a degree in Mass Media (Advertising). This academic grounding helped her understand storytelling and media dynamics – skills that later enhanced her acting career.
