List of Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand, also known as Uttaranchal is a state in the northern part of India. The state is divided into two divisions, Garhwal and Kumaon, with a total of 13 districts. The winter capital of Uttarakhand is Dehradun, the largest city of the state, which is a rail head. Bhararisain, a town in Chamoli district, is the summer capital of Uttarakhand.
Ten people have served as the state’s chief minister since its formation on 9 November 2000. Seven of them, including the inaugural officeholder Nityanand Swami and the incumbent Pushkar Singh Dhami represented the (BJP) while the rest represented the Indian National Congress.
